ALIA took part in the Trimediale 2025, organized in Lucerne by the Federal Office of Communications (BAKOM/OFCOM). This annual event brought together delegations from Austria, Germany, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, and Switzerland to exchange views on key issues related to media regulation and the development of the media sector in Europe.
Discussions focused on the national implementation of the Digital Services Act (DSA), the work of the European Board of Media Services (EBMS), as well as the growing integration of artificial intelligence into media processes. Other topics, such as structural developments in the media landscape and prospects for public support for the media, were also addressed.
The meeting concluded in a spirit of strengthened cooperation among partner authorities. The next edition of the Trimediale will take place in Luxembourg in 2026.
