The new Director of ALIA takes office

On 16 September 2024, Ms Cindy Bauwens officially took up her post as Director of the Luxembourg Independent Media Authority (ALIA). On this occasion, Ms Bauwens expressed her commitment to ensuring that ALIA proactively adapts to the ongoing transformations in the media landscape, particularly in terms of technological progress and legislative reforms.
The interim President of ALIA, Ms Claude Wolf, warmly welcomed Ms Bauwens on behalf of the Board of Directors and emphasised the importance of this new management for the future of the institution.
