New Decision

On March 17, 2025, ALIA ruled on a complaint filed by the Hungarian Media Council (NMHH) against RTL+ (VOD) regarding an episode of “Való Világ”, broadcast on July 18, 2024. The complainant alleged that RTL+ had violated the human dignity of one of the participants in the said programme.

Given the severity of the incident and a previous warning in November 2024, ALIA decided to impose a fine of 25,000 euros on RTL+ for failing to comply with the obligations to protect human dignity.
